Pokemon Games For DSi: The Best of Nintendo Dsi Games
Pokemon games are staying very popular. Today we have a look at some of the the more unusual Pokemon games. They are: Pokemon Dash, Pokemon Trozei, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, Pokemon Ranger and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time. I will give a short description of each and then tell you where you can download them.
Pokemon Dash:
In Pokemon Dash for the Nintendo DS, players control Pikachu and race against other Pokemon. The objective is to clear all check points and aim toward the goal. In addition to running the courses, Pikachu can cross water terrain by riding on Lapras’ back and can also fly using a hot-air balloon. Most of the control is based on using the unique touch screen of Nintendo DS, making this game unlike any previous Pokemon title.
Pokemon Trozei:
In Pokemon Trozei for the Nintendo DS, you use the stylusto line up four Pokemon Puzzle pieces in a row (vertically or horizontally) to create a “Trozei” and add Pokemon to your Trozei List. Once a Trozei happens, it can be turned into a chain reaction by lining up three in a row, and then two in a row, to clear those pieces from the screen. The longer a player keeps a Trozei going, the higher the score. However, if the pieces stack up too high and reach the top of the screen, the game is over.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team:
In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team for the Nintendo DS, players form a rescue team with a Pokemon friend, accept various missions and try to help Pokemon in trouble. They go into many dungeons and strategically make their way through many floors. The layout of the dungeons is randomly generated, so they present a different challenge every time. Strategy and thinking are the keys to clearing the dungeons and completing the missions.
Pokemon Ranger:
As a Pokemon Ranger, players will capture wild Pokemon by circling them with their stylus numerous times (the bigger Pokemon take more to capture). Players then borrow their power and abilities to clear obstacles and puzzles they encounter along the way. Once they use a captured Pokemon’s power, it will leave. Players will always have their partner Pokemon with them – it will never leave. There are various “Groups” of Pokemon the player can capture. Some of the Pokemon groups are Grass, Fire, Electric and many more. Each Pokemon group has a unique Poke Assist to help players. There are various “Group Match-up” advantages/disadvantages that make the capture of Pokemon strategic.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time:
In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time for the Nintendo DS, players join an exploration guild and set out on a mission to find treasure and help other Pokemon in trouble. There are many dungeons and various floors to explore, and because the layout of each dungeon is randomly generated, they’re different every time. When players perform an action such as walking or attacking, the opponent Pokemon in the dungeon will perform an action, no matter where they are in the dungeon. To clear dungeons and complete missions, strategy and logic are the key to solve this.
