World Of Warcraft – Love it or hate it by John Shirley
I started playing World of Warcraft (WoW) a few years back when my son got interested in the game. After watching him play I decided to have a go with one of the spare character slot. I got quite into the game so I decided to go and buy the game myself.
The character creation is simple enough, the only thing that took a while was do I become Horde or Alliance?? After much thought I decided it would have to be Horde. So my new Orc Hunter was created and off I went into the world of Azeroth.
To improve your character in WoW you need to level him. This is done by killing stuff and completing quests given to you by quest givers. You start off in your races starter area which has low level mobs and creatures and very easy quests all designed to get you used to your new character and slowly introduced to his abilities. You start of with a few spells and as you level you get the chance to learn new ones. When you kill mobs and complete quests you gain XP (experience points). The higher the level the more XP you need per level.
When your character has reached a certain level he will have to move on to a new area. Finding the next questing area is quite easy as you
